Short biography | |
Thomas Bauwens is an economist specialized in social and environmental sustainability issues. He is currently Assistant Professor at the Copernicus Institute for Sustainable Development, Utrecht University, where he leads research and teaches on circular economy, community enterprises and sustainability transitions. Before joining the Copernicus Institute, he was a researcher at Oxford University and the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne. He holds a PhD in Economics from HEC Management School, University of Liege, Belgium, and a MSc in Economics from the Economic School of Louvain, University of Louvain, Belgium.
